Human Resources Generalist

About the role

The People Partner acts as a strategic ally to business leaders, working closely with department heads and executives to align people strategies with business goals, strengthen organisational effectiveness and build a positive, inclusive culture. The role covers advisory, talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations and learning and development.

Key responsibilities

• Advise managers and employees on HR matters such as conflict resolution, disciplinary actions and grievances, and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
• Analyse HR data to advise stakeholders on workforce risks and inform strategic planning
• Work with hiring managers to meet staffing needs, manage onboarding and integration, and run the full talent acquisition cycle and interview selection
• Update job descriptions and the quarterly manpower plan with project and department heads, and coordinate people activities with site project team assistants
• Run exit interviews, conduct training and awareness sessions, and coach line managers on PIPs and PDPs
• Monitor performance management systems, oversee the probation process and help develop succession plans
• Identify training needs, implement engagement and retention activities, manage employee surveys and handle absence cases
• Promote wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, and run employee recognition and rewards programmes
• Use SAP SuccessFactors and review data quality quarterly

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or a related field
• HR certification (e.g. SHRM-CP, PHR, CIPD) or a master's degree preferred
• 10 years of HR experience, focused on HR business partnering
• Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws and regulations
• Business acumen and proven ability to align HR strategy with business needs
