Human Resources Officer

About the role

We are seeking an organized and proactive Human Resources Officer to join our client’s expanding team in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves managing day‑to‑day HR operations, supporting full‑cycle recruitment, overseeing employee onboarding, and ensuring strict compliance with local labour regulations and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee records, manage HR databases, handle leave management, and issue HR‑related certificates and contracts, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Assist with job postings, screen applications, schedule interviews, and coordinate onboarding for new hires, facilitating a smooth recruitment cycle.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and workplace guidelines, providing timely and accurate information.
• Ensure HR practices align with current UAE Labour Law and internal compliance standards, conducting regular audits and updates.
• Coordinate monthly attendance, leave balances, and overtime tracking to support payroll processing, collaborating with finance teams.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience as an HR Officer, HR Coordinator or HR Generalist within the GCC/UAE, demonstrating competence in HR operations and recruitment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, statutory compliance and general HR processes, with ability to interpret and apply regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS platforms, including data entry, reporting and system administration.
• Advanced use of the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation, analysis and presentations.
