Human Resources Specialist

About the role

Edge is looking for a proactive Human Resources Specialist to oversee performance management, employee engagement, recruitment and HR operations in Abu Dhabi. The role partners with leaders to build a positive, inclusive and high‑performing culture while ensuring compliance with UAE labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full performance management cycle, including goal setting, reviews, calibrations and reporting.
• Lead employee engagement initiatives, surveys, recognition programmes and wellbeing activities.
• Coordinate recruitment processes from job posting to offer management and ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Support onboarding, maintain accurate employee records and prepare contracts and HR correspondence.
• Handle employee relations matters such as policy interpretation, investigations, disciplinary actions and grievances.
• Coordinate learning and development activities, track training completion and evaluate effectiveness.
• Generate and analyse HR metrics on recruitment, performance, engagement, turnover and headcount.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and applicable UAE labour regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or specialist role.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution and organisational skills.
