About the role
Join Amazon’s Worldwide Sustainability organization to lead the management of human rights and environmental impacts across the supply chain. The Human Rights Compliance Manager acts as the single‑threaded leader for complex cases, ensuring thorough investigation, remediation, and stakeholder coordination.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as case‑level Single Threaded Leader (STL) for supply‑chain human rights impacts, overseeing the full lifecycle from intake to remedy.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of cases, including audit findings, external escalations, worker grievances, and non‑audit sources.
- Assess risk, initiate investigations, and develop remediation plans within established SLA frameworks.
- Make independent decisions on case approach and remediation with limited supervision.
- Collaborate directly with suppliers and service providers to implement corrective actions.
- Maintain rigorous documentation, data integrity, and reporting standards.
Required profile
- Proven experience in human rights compliance, supply‑chain investigations, or related fields.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions under tight timelines.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
