HVAC & Cold Room Technician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HVAC and cold‑room technician to join Noon’s facilities team. The role supports our fast‑growing hyper‑local delivery platform across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, ensuring that air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems run reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair air‑conditioning systems including split units, VRF and ducted solutions.
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot and restore functionality of HVAC equipment quickly.
• Conduct routine inspections, maintenance and repairs on cold rooms, chillers and freezers, maintaining required temperature ranges.
• Identify and fix refrigerant leaks, compressor failures and sensor issues.
• Develop and follow a preventive‑maintenance schedule for all HVAC and refrigeration assets.
• Ensure compliance with local safety, environmental and refrigerant handling regulations.
• Maintain accurate service records and provide performance reports to the Facility Manager.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITI certification in Refrigeration, HVAC or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in HVAC and refrigeration maintenance, preferably in retail, warehousing or cold‑storage environments.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Professional certifications such as EPA or F‑Gas are a plus.

Required skills

• Installation and repair of split, VRF and ducted air‑conditioning systems.
• Cold‑room and refrigeration maintenance, including refrigerant handling.
• Electrical troubleshooting and ability to read schematics and service manuals.
• Use of diagnostic tools for HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Planning and executing preventive‑maintenance programmes.
