HVAC Site Engineer

About the role

MAXCO Electromechanical LLC is seeking an experienced HVAC Site Engineer to lead installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance and handover activities across projects in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The role demands strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, effective site management, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise HVAC installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance at project sites.
• Plan and coordinate site activities according to project schedules and technical specifications.
• Review HVAC drawings, technical submittals and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams.
• Monitor progress, quality standards and safety compliance.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Ensure efficient use of materials, manpower and equipment.
• Support project handover, testing, commissioning and close‑out documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–7 years of UAE/GCC experience in HVAC project execution and site management.
• Strong knowledge of chilled water, VRF/VRV, DX, AHU, FCU, package unit and ventilation systems.
• Ability to interpret HVAC drawings, specifications and BOQs.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, clients and subcontractors.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Primavera or MS Project is an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving licence preferred.
