HVAC Supervisor

About the role

Voltron UAE is seeking an experienced HVAC Supervisor to lead its MEP team in Dubai. The role involves overseeing the installation, maintenance, testing and commissioning of HVAC systems on construction and retrofit projects, ensuring quality, safety and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate HVAC installation, maintenance, repair, retrofit, testing and commissioning activities on site.
• Lead a team of technicians and site workers, monitor daily progress and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
• Review HVAC drawings, layouts and project specifications before execution.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors and other MEP disciplines to guarantee correct installation of AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV systems, chillers, ducting, piping and pumps.
• Conduct inspections, support testing, commissioning and hand‑over processes, and troubleshoot any issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards and project requirements.
• Prepare daily progress reports and update management on site activities, manpower, material and equipment needs.

Required profile

• Diploma, ITI or equivalent technical qualification in Mechanical or HVAC.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE/GCC experience in HVAC works.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC installation, maintenance, testing and commissioning.
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings and technical documents.
• Proven team supervision and leadership skills.
• UAE driving licence is an advantage.

Required skills

• Installation and maintenance of AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV systems and chillers.
• Ducting and piping layout and installation.
• Testing, commissioning and hand‑over of HVAC systems.
• Interpretation of HVAC drawings and technical documentation.
• Troubleshooting of HVAC equipment.
