HVAC Technician – Hospitality Operations

About the role

IIQAF Group is seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Technician to support its hospitality operations in Dubai. The role involves installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems across hotel facilities. You will ensure guest areas, back‑of‑house spaces and public zones maintain appropriate temperature and ventilation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all HVAC and air‑conditioning equipment throughout hotel and hospitality facilities.
• Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, including central AC, split units, package units, VRF/VRV systems, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, exhaust fans and ventilation systems.
• Carry out routine inspections to detect abnormal noise, vibration, temperature, pressure, leakage or performance issues.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Maintain HVAC tools, spare parts and work areas in a clean, serviceable condition.
• Use hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment, gauges, meters and diagnostic devices safely and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.

Required profile

• High school diploma, technical diploma, ITI, vocational certificate or equivalent in HVAC, Air‑Conditioning, Refrigeration, Mechanical Engineering or a related trade.
• Previous experience as an HVAC, AC, Refrigeration or Mechanical Technician with practical installation, maintenance and repair skills.
• Experience in hospitality, hotel, resort, restaurant, commercial building or facilities management is preferred.
• Ability to read basic HVAC drawings, equipment manuals, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
• Relevant UAE technical certification or HVAC‑related training is an advantage.
