HVAC Technician – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The HVAC Technician will be responsible for inspecting, repairing and maintaining heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning, air‑quality and refrigeration equipment at JW Marriott Dubai. This full‑time, onsite position ensures the mechanical plant operates efficiently and guest comfort is consistently delivered.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, repair and maintain HVAC, air‑quality control and refrigeration equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections of the mechanical plant and monitor property temperature.
• Analyze energy and utilities usage and calibrate controls, gauges and meters.
• Assemble, install, test, repair and maintain electrical systems and pipe assemblies, including fittings and valves.
• Perform routine pool and spa maintenance.
• Follow all company safety policies, report hazards and complete required safety training.
• Maintain a professional appearance, protect company assets and uphold guest service standards.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• Minimum of 3 years related HVAC or mechanical maintenance experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• EPA Universal Certification, HVAC Certification and a valid driver’s license.

• HVAC system installation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Refrigeration equipment servicing.
• Electrical wiring and control system calibration.
• Pipe fitting, valve installation and plumbing maintenance.
