HVAC Technician – Resort & Spa

About the role

Exceptional hospitality starts with you. As an HVAC Technician at the DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island, you will inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation and air‑conditioning systems to ensure optimal comfort for guests and team members.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test and maintain HVAC equipment including chillers, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), VRF systems, ventilation units and exhaust fans.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to maximise efficiency, reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Diagnose faults and repair or replace motors, compressors, coils, belts, thermostats, refrigerant lines and other components while adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, manufacturer guidelines and environmental standards, reporting any hazards or inefficiencies.
• Respond promptly to service requests and emergencies such as refrigerant leaks or ventilation failures to minimise operational disruption.
• Document inspections, maintenance activities and repairs, and support energy‑efficiency initiatives and system upgrade projects.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in HVAC technology, mechanical engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven hands‑on experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems and equipment.
• Sound knowledge of electrical and mechanical building‑services systems.
• Valid HVAC technician licences and ability to work flexible shifts, including emergency call‑outs.
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage.
