Hygiene & EHS Coordinator – Emiratisation Program

About the role

As a Hygiene & EHS Coordinator you will support the implementation and monitoring of hygiene, food safety and environmental health & safety standards across all operational areas of Shangri‑La Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi. The role also assists in ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, HACCP requirements and corporate policies while providing a pathway for long‑term career growth in quality assurance and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring hygiene, food safety and EHS compliance across all departments.
• Support internal audits, inspections and corrective‑action plans in line with HACCP and UAE regulations.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation related to hygiene and EHS standards.
• Coordinate training sessions and awareness programmes on hygiene, safety and environmental practices.
• Act as a liaison between operational teams on EHS‑related matters.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of hygiene, food safety or EHS standards, or strong willingness to learn.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage with operational teams.
• Proactive, reliable and committed to continuous improvement.
