ICT Teacher – Immediate Start

About the role

We are seeking an ICT Teacher for Mubarak Bin Mohammed Cycle 2 Charter School in Abu Dhabi, with an immediate start. The successful candidate will deliver engaging ICT lessons, support student progress through assessment and data analysis, and work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and support staff.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver ICT lessons that cater to the full ability range and motivate pupils.
• Organise classroom resources, create displays and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Assess student progress, record data using Target Tracker and use insights to inform future planning.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school policy and act as a positive role model.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum support staff and external professionals such as therapists and educational psychologists.
• Communicate regularly with parents and carers regarding student achievement and well‑being.
• Participate in curriculum action groups, school events and run a weekly extracurricular activity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with students for whom English is not the first language.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with the school community.
• Commitment to professional conduct, child welfare and a clean enhanced DBS check.
