ICT Teacher – UK IGCSE Computing

About the role

International Community Schools is seeking a dedicated ICT Teacher to deliver the UK‑IGCSE Computing curriculum to high/secondary students at Al Maharat Private School for the 2026/27 academic year. The role involves creating an engaging learning environment that develops students’ digital literacy, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver ICT lessons aligned with the UK‑IGCSE syllabus.
• Design assessments, worksheets and project‑based activities that meet diverse learner needs.
• Monitor student progress, provide feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to share best practices and contribute to school events.
• Maintain classroom discipline and foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience in Computing or a related subject at secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of the UK IGCSE Computing syllabus.
• Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Commitment to professional development and teamwork in a multicultural setting.
