Immediate Homeroom Teacher Position in Al Ain

About the role

This full‑time position is for a Homeroom Teacher who can start immediately in Al Ain. You will be responsible for delivering personalised, engaging lessons that help each student reach their academic potential.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and deepen expertise in the subject(s) you teach.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with grade‑by‑grade learning standards.
• Coordinate with fellow teachers to reinforce interdisciplinary learning.
• Provide both direct and indirect instruction, addressing individual student needs.
• Prepare students for all required assessments and evaluate their progress.
• Produce quarterly achievement reports for parents.
• Create an inviting, innovative classroom environment and manage behaviour effectively.
• Serve as an advisor, organising advisory groups and monitoring academic and behavioural progress.
• Support the ADEK National Identity initiative and perform additional duties as assigned by the Principal.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (QFE Level 7) in Elementary or Early Years Education, attested and UAE‑equivalency certified.
• Recognised teaching qualification (Teaching diploma, PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
• Valid IELTS band 7 for non‑native English speakers.
• Minimum two years of experience as a KG classroom or homeroom teacher.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of early years curriculum and assessment standards.
• Ability to design and deliver differentiated lesson plans.
• Effective classroom management techniques.
