In-Store Digital Specialist – Retail

About the role

The In‑Store Digital Specialist enhances customer experiences and coworker efficiency by managing and optimizing digital solutions within IKEA stores in Jebel Ali. Acting as the bridge between physical store operations and digital platforms, the role ensures seamless implementation of technologies such as kiosks, digital signage, and mobile tools.

Key responsibilities

• Own and operate in‑store digital solutions including kiosks, assisted‑selling tools, digital signage, and mobile applications.
• Monitor performance of digital assets, analyse KPIs, identify gaps and provide actionable insights.
• Prepare stores for rollout: create SOPs, train coworkers, and support post‑launch operations.
• Drive omnichannel integration to connect physical touchpoints with online channels, reducing friction in the customer journey.
• Support marketing automation and AI initiatives in‑store to improve campaign accuracy, engagement and conversion rates.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience in digital solutions, retail technology or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data.
• Excellent communication skills to train and support store coworkers.
