Inclusion Teacher (Immediate)

About the role

A school is looking for an Inclusion Teacher to teach and educate students according to their individual educational needs, abilities and attainment potential, encouraging each student to reach their academic potential through enthusiastic and personalised teaching. The role is advertised as immediate.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, differentiated instruction tailored to diverse learning needs, in line with curriculum and inclusion guidelines.
• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) with staff and parents, aligned with the school's Inclusion Framework.
• Plan and deliver lessons that address grade-level outcomes while meeting individual student needs.
• Collaborate with subject and classroom teachers to align lesson plans, promote co-teaching and create interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
• Provide direct and indirect instruction based on students' support requirements, and engage in short- and long-term planning for student development.
• Monitor, assess and document student progress, give timely feedback and prepare quarterly individual achievement reports for parents.
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment, use classroom management strategies suited to students with learning differences, and accept coaching and feedback from leadership.
• Mentor assigned students on academic and behavioural development, support the school's National Identity initiatives, and perform other duties assigned by the Principal or Head of Inclusion.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (QFE Level 7) in English or a related field, properly attested and UAE-equivalency certified.
• Recognised teaching qualification such as a Teaching diploma, PGCE, QTS or equivalent licensure from the home country.
• Valid IELTS band 6 for non-native speakers.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience as an Inclusion Teacher; prior experience with students of determination or in an inclusive setting is highly preferred.
