Inclusion Teacher (Maternity Cover)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an Inclusion Teacher on a maternity‑cover basis to join one of its schools in the United Arab Emirates starting January 2027. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, inclusive learning experiences for students with special educational needs (SEN) while supporting the broader classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess lessons that inspire all learners and promote inclusion.
• Observe, assess and monitor SEN students, identifying priority areas for targeted intervention.
• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEP) and coordinate care plans with external professionals such as speech‑language therapists, occupational therapists and educational psychologists.
• Maintain accurate records and use assessment data (e.g., Target Tracker) to inform teaching strategies.
• Collaborate with curriculum support staff, parents and colleagues to ensure optimal academic and personal outcomes for each child.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a nurturing, play‑based learning environment.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification and experience in inclusive or special‑needs education.
• Strong understanding of the English National Curriculum, American Massachusetts State Curriculum and International Baccalaureate programmes.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with students, parents and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to develop and monitor IEPs and deliver differentiated instruction.
