Inclusion Teacher (Maternity Cover) – Start Jan 2027

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an Inclusion Teacher on a maternity‑cover basis to join one of its schools in Abu Dhabi starting January 2027. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, inclusive lessons that inspire curiosity, creativity and personal development for all learners.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons that promote academic success and inclusive practices.
• Collaborate with parents, curriculum support staff and external professionals (speech therapists, occupational therapists, educational psychologists) to support student development.
• Plan, implement and monitor intervention programmes for SEN students, including the creation of Individual Education Plans (IEP).
• Assess student progress using Target Tracker and use data to inform further planning and intervention.
• Provide constructive feedback to parents during conferences and maintain accurate records.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy, fostering a positive learning environment.
• Participate in curriculum action groups, school events, outings and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• BA in Special Education, Education or Psychology with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with EAL learners.
• Demonstrated passion for whole‑child education and involvement in extracurricular activities.
• High level of professionalism and a clean enhanced DBS/police check.
• Residency in the same Emirate as the school.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Target Tracker assessment system.
• Experience using CPOMS for student welfare monitoring.
