About the role
Papyri, a Dubai‑based surface design studio, is seeking a creative Conceptual/Industrial Design Intern for a 2‑month unpaid placement. The role is open to remote or Dubai‑based candidates and involves developing visual ideas from concept to presentation.
Key responsibilities
- Concept development for products, furniture, objects and spatial ideas
- Creating moodboards, visual research and material, colour and texture exploration
- Sketching, early design development and storytelling for collections
- Preparing presentation boards, concept decks and supporting product launches
Required profile
- Background in Product Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Architecture or related field
- Strong conceptual and visual thinking with good eye for composition, colour and materials
- Interest in materials, furniture, architecture and contemporary design
Required skills
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Sketching
- 3D software (optional)
