Industrial Electrician

About the role

The Industrial Electrician will ensure that plant equipment remains powered and safe by handling daily electrical wiring, panel assembly, and troubleshooting tasks. This role is essential for maintaining continuous operation of machinery in an industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Panel Assembly: Assemble and wire industrial control panels cleanly and professionally.
• Cable Dressing: Keep all control box wires neatly organized, tied down, and clearly labeled.
• Power Routing: Install electrical conduits, cable trays, and pull heavy power cables for new machinery.
• Fault Finding: Diagnose basic electrical issues such as blown fuses, bad relays, short circuits, or faulty 24VDC sensors.
• Motors & Drives: Connect, test, and replace standard 3‑phase electric motors, pumps, and VFD speed controllers.
• Dust Protection: Clean electrical junction boxes regularly and maintain seals against fine powder to prevent short circuits.
• Shift Support: Lead and guide the technician crew during standard operational shifts.

Required profile

• At least 1 month of experience in industrial electrical work.
• No specific qualifications required.
