Information Security Analyst – Entry Level (UAE National)

About the role

The Entry‑Level Information Security Analyst will support Cyber Defence activities within Al Futtaim Group’s Corporate Services. The role focuses on QRadar SIEM administration, monitoring SOC events, and conducting vulnerability assessments to protect the organisation from cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain QRadar appliances, applying updates, patches and performing health checks to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor security alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS and endpoint tools, investigate incidents, determine root cause and execute containment, eradication and recovery actions.
• Conduct vulnerability scans, support remediation efforts and ensure timely closure of findings.
• Develop and refine detection use‑cases, collaborate with IT, network and application teams to implement security controls.
• Document configurations, processes, incident findings and contribute to SOC knowledge‑base updates.
• Participate in incident‑response exercises and stay current on emerging threats and technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1‑4 years of experience in an information security or SOC role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on threat detection.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to work under SLA pressures.
• Commitment to adhering to security policies and procedures.
