Information Security Analyst – Entry Level (UAE National)

About the role

The Entry‑Level Information Security Analyst is integral to supporting cyber‑defense activities at Al Futtaim. The role focuses on managing QRadar SIEM administration, monitoring and investigating SOC events, and performing vulnerability assessments to protect the organization from cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain QRadar appliances, including updates, patches, health checks and performance optimisation.
• Monitor security alerts across SIEM, IDS/IPS and endpoint tools, investigate incidents, and coordinate containment, eradication and recovery actions.
• Collaborate with SOC, IT, network and application teams to update processes, develop detection use cases and ensure timely vulnerability remediation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1‑4 years of experience in an information security or SOC role with strong foundational knowledge of security principles.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and ability to meet SLAs in an operational environment.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of SIEM tools and security monitoring systems.
• Proficiency in cybersecurity incident response and management.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities for threat detection and mitigation.
