Information Security Engineer

About the role

Freedom Broker Global Markets is seeking an Information Security Engineer to protect and strengthen its IT infrastructure within a regulated financial services environment. You will manage security technologies, respond to incidents, and drive best‑practice security implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain security tools such as next‑generation firewalls (NGFW), web application firewalls (WAF), antivirus and endpoint detection & response (EDR) solutions.
• Support and develop the SIEM system by configuring log sources, correlation rules, and dashboards.
• Manage the privileged access management (PAM) system, including accounts, sessions, and access policies.
• Handle access management in Active Directory, controlling user and service account privileges.
• Respond to L1/L2 security incidents, conduct investigations and remediation.
• Perform vulnerability scanning and prepare remediation plans.
• Participate in infrastructure hardening projects and rollout of new security tools.
• Prepare technical documentation, guidelines, and standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in information security.
• Hands‑on experience with NGFW, WAF and EDR solutions.
• Experience working with SIEM platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, routing).
• Familiarity with current threat frameworks (OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK).
• English proficiency sufficient for reading technical documentation.
