Information Security Manager (UAE Nationals Only)

About the role

The Information Security Manager will lead enterprise‑wide security for the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), governing policies, risk programs and the cyber security function in line with Dubai standards. The role is open to UAE nationals only and is responsible for ensuring resilient, compliant operations across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Define, approve and enforce information‑security policies, standards and audit regimes.
• Establish and own the risk‑management framework, assign owners, and oversee periodic reviews.
• Drive RTA‑wide security awareness programmes for employees, suppliers and contractors.
• Manage the information‑security budget, approve forecasts and monitor project execution.
• Commission vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (VAPT) and ensure timely remediation.
• Oversee incident handling, SOC operations and post‑incident evaluations.
• Enforce access‑control governance, privilege audits and network traffic monitoring.
• Lead threat‑intelligence collection, analysis and mock‑exercise planning.
• Govern ISMS implementation, compliance monitoring and audit follow‑up.
• Approve business‑continuity and remedial plans for technical systems.

Required profile

• UAE national with extensive experience in enterprise information‑security leadership.
• Proven ability to set strategy, define policies and manage large‑scale security programmes.
• Strong track record in risk management, budgeting and stakeholder communication.
• Experience coordinating with internal and external authorities on security incidents.
