Information Technology Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Information Technology Manager to lead the IT function at Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort in Ras Al‑Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. The role will drive the planning, implementation and continuous improvement of our technology landscape, ensuring alignment with business goals and a high level of service reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage the IT department, fostering professional development and accountability.
• Design, implement and maintain IT infrastructure including networks, servers, databases and cloud‑based systems.
• Develop and execute IT strategies and roadmaps that support organisational growth.
• Manage the IT budget, control costs and optimise resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, data‑protection regulations and industry best practices.
• Analyse system performance, identify bottlenecks and implement efficiency improvements.
• Oversee vendor relationships and evaluate third‑party solutions.
• Coordinate IT projects from conception to delivery, monitoring SLAs and performance metrics.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of progressive IT management experience in a corporate environment.
• Proven expertise in managing IT infrastructure, networks, systems and servers.
• Strong background in IT service management (ITSM) frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams of varying sizes.
• Solid understanding of IT security, compliance and data‑protection standards.
