Information Technology Specialist (UAE National)

About the role

The primary ICT point of contact at branch level, responsible for ensuring the effective functioning, availability, security, and resilience of all branch ICT systems. Works closely with UAE IT personnel and Head Office ICT to maintain a reliable technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support the branch ICT environment, including hardware and software.
• Support critical AS400 procedures such as SIRE, Safewatch, and Swift Alliance.
• Provide 1st‑level troubleshooting and escalate issues to Head Office ICT when needed.
• Coordinate local ICT projects, including disaster‑recovery site support and testing.
• Manage application access, ICT security compliance, and support audit activities.
• Support videoconferencing and telecom services for the branch.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of relevant experience (mid‑level professional).
• University degree in a related discipline.
• Good command of English.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical and able to multitask.
