Information Technology Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Information Technology Support Engineer to join our IT team. The role focuses on delivering first‑level technical assistance to employees, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software and connectivity across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support for hardware, software and IT‑related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems promptly.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, laptops, printers and other equipment.
• Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 and other business applications.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, password resets and system access.
• Diagnose basic network, Wi‑Fi, VPN and connectivity issues.
• Record, track and manage support tickets using the designated ticketing system.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records and documentation.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT teams or external providers.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Customer‑service orientation with the capacity to assist users at all levels.

Required skills

• Microsoft Windows operating system.
• Microsoft 365 suite.
• Installation and maintenance of IT hardware (PCs, laptops, printers).
• Basic networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• VPN and Wi‑Fi connectivity troubleshooting.
• Use of ticketing systems for incident management.
