Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Al Darmaky Contracting & Agricultural Materials is looking for a highly experienced Infrastructure Engineer to lead the execution of large‑scale infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves supervising site activities, coordinating with consultants and subcontractors, and ensuring that all works meet approved designs and UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage infrastructure construction activities on site, including stormwater drainage, road works, and water networks.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor works to ensure they align with drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor daily site progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Identify technical issues and work with relevant teams to resolve them efficiently.
• Prepare and review site reports, progress updates, inspections, and other documentation.
• Assist in planning manpower, materials, equipment, and resources required for construction activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Approximately 10 years of relevant infrastructure construction experience, including at least 5 years with TASNEEF‑related approvals or UAE classification requirements.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, authority requirements, and engineering standards.
• Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
