Infrastructure Estimator

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Estimator – Infrastructure to join our team in the UAE. The successful candidate will prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for a range of infrastructure projects, including roads, utilities, drainage, water and sewerage networks, irrigation works and related civil works.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs and contractual requirements.
• Prepare detailed quantity take‑offs from drawings and specifications.
• Develop accurate cost estimates for roads, highways, earthworks, utilities, stormwater drainage, sewerage, potable water, irrigation systems and road furniture.
• Prepare rate build‑ups for labour, materials, equipment, subcontractors and temporary works.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and constraints.
• Analyze tender risks, opportunities and commercial considerations.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning and construction teams during bid preparation.
• Prepare tender clarifications and respond to client queries.
• Support value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE estimation experience on infrastructure projects.
• Hands‑on experience using Candy Estimation Software.
• Proven ability to prepare complete tender estimates independently.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantity take‑off techniques.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent analytical, commercial and numerical skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under tight tender deadlines.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
