Infrastructure Lead Manager

About the role

Artelia is building an in‑house Infrastructure Team for its Airports division in the Middle East. The Infrastructure Lead Manager will own the integrated design and delivery of airside and landside infrastructure, ensuring safety, compliance and commercial control across a range of airport systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design for runways, taxiways, aprons, roads, storm‑water, utilities, AGL, power and specialised airport systems.
• Define design strategies, scope breakdowns, interfaces and review gates from concept through construction hand‑over.
• Manage execution plans, resource allocation, man‑hour budgets and protect scope and fee integrity.
• Govern BIM, Common Data Environments and AI‑driven workflows, including digital twins and automated checking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of civil/infrastructure experience, including at least 10 years on airport projects and 5 years in a leadership role.
• References from two major airport projects, preferably with GCC experience.
• Deep knowledge of ICAO, FAA and regional aerodrome regulations.
• Strong design‑management, project‑control and commercial‑management capabilities.
• Familiarity with FIDIC‑based contracts.
• Professional registration (Chartered Engineer, PE) and PMP certification are advantageous.
