Insider Talent Coach – Guest Relations

About the role

The Insider Talent Coach supports guest check‑in operations while coaching front‑desk staff to deliver exceptional service. This hybrid role blends direct guest interaction with employee development in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest check‑ins, verify identity, payment method, assign rooms and issue keys.
• Maintain accurate guest accounts, enter Marriott Rewards information and ensure correct rate codes.
• Handle cash, vouchers, paid‑outs, balance receipts and secure the bank at shift start and end.
• Compile daily reports, logs and contingency lists; complete cashier and closing reports.
• Assist guests with directions, property information and special requests, coordinating with other staff as needed.
• Coach, train, evaluate and motivate front‑desk employees, acting as the first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment policy.
• Follow safety, appearance and confidentiality standards; report accidents, injuries and security incidents.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related hospitality experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Required skills

• Computer operation.
• POS system operation.
