Inspector – Operations & Maintenance Roads & Parks

The Inspector (Operations & Maintenance Roads & Parks) will be assigned to various phases of road, infrastructure and park works in Abu Dhabi, ensuring quality of the finished project.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all construction works are performed in strict accordance with plans and specifications.
• Maintain a detailed daily diary of work activities, issues, approvals, labor and equipment usage.
• Interface with the public and stakeholders to mitigate construction impacts.
• Coordinate daily with the contractor’s foreman to advise on proper execution of work.
• Arrange sampling, testing and quality‑assurance checks with other discipline inspectors.
• Report any questionable contractor methods or failures to the Assistant Resident Engineer or Resident Engineer.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4+ years demonstrable experience in road, infrastructure and parks O&M projects, preferably in Abu Dhabi.
• Ability to read and enforce working drawings and related specifications.
• Fully computer literate and able to use project‑specific engineering and construction software.
• Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
