Institutional Performance Manager

About the role

The Institutional Performance Manager will oversee the implementation of the university‑wide strategy, working closely with academic and administrative leaders. The role ensures that performance frameworks, policies, and processes are consistently applied across campuses and supports continuous improvement through change management.

Key responsibilities

• Educate, coach and assist leaders and staff on the balanced scorecard methodology and facilitate its cascading at all hierarchical levels.
• Design strategic and operational performance indicators to measure overall institutional performance.
• Manage the performance reporting process to guarantee accuracy, integrity and reliability of data.
• Measure and evaluate organizational performance, recommend strategic adjustments and develop change‑management plans.
• Benchmark performance against top universities and best practices in the higher‑education sector.
• Monitor initiative execution performance at portfolio and project levels.
• Track departmental and campus annual operational plan performance.
• Coordinate and facilitate semi‑annual strategic and operational performance review meetings.
• Prepare strategic and operational performance reports against approved plans.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Director of Strategy & Performance.

Required profile

• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in Institutional Performance.
• At least five (5) years in a managerial role within a higher‑education or similar environment.
