Instructional Designer – Learning & Content Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Instructional Designer to join our learning team in Dubai. You will create, curate, and manage engaging learning content that aligns with Amazon’s brand and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a content strategy that supports organizational goals.
• Create high‑quality e‑learning modules, job aids, training manuals and other instructional materials.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity and consistency.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts and stakeholders to gather information and validate content.
• Apply adult‑learning theories and instructional design models such as ADDIE and SAM.
• Manage and update content within the Learning Management System (LMS).

Required profile

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Experience with LMS platforms or classroom training.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Ruby or Perl).
• Familiarity with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Strong understanding of adult‑learning principles and instructional design models.
