Instructor I – Electronics & Armament

About the role

Serves as an Instructor of Electronics and Armament for AL TAIF Technical Services LLC at the General Maintenance Corps (GMC) training school. Provides Levels I, II and III technical training in electronics and armament subjects for UAE Army personnel. Ensures all training processes comply with ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management system standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and workshop training in all electronics and armament related subjects, designing courses using the Systems Approach to Training (SAT).
• Advise the Chief Instructor on course development, student progress, and performance, and act as primary or alternate instructor for sessions.
• Maintain training equipment, supplies and computers, ensuring they are accounted for and properly serviced.
• Develop and continuously improve instructional materials such as lesson plans, handouts and PowerPoint presentations.
• Enforce safety and security rules, and support a safe and healthy working environment in line with company policies.

Required profile

• A degree in a relevant field (Bachelor’s preferred) and graduation from a recognised school or military training program in combat vehicles.
• Minimum four years’ experience as an instructor in logistics or general subjects, with at least two years of military experience considered an advantage.
• Ability to obtain a valid UAE driver’s licence and communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally.
