Instructor I – Logistics & General Subjects

About the role

EDGE Group is seeking an Instructor I to deliver Logistics and General Subjects training for AL TAIF Technical Services at the General Maintenance Corps (GMC) training school in Abu Dhabi. The role involves classroom and workshop instruction, course development, and ensuring compliance with ISO quality, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Levels I‑III classroom and workshop training in logistics and general subjects for UAE Army personnel.
• Design, develop and analyse courses using the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) and prepare technical evaluations.
• Coach trainees, remedial training and monitor graduation rates and test scores.
• Maintain training equipment, supplies and instructional materials, ensuring they are accounted for and in good condition.
• Advise the Chief Instructor on course development, student progress and performance.
• Enforce all safety, security and environmental policies and support a safe working environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred) or equivalent military training in combat vehicles.
• Minimum four years’ experience as an instructor in logistics or general subjects.
• At least two years of military experience is an advantage.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Valid UAE driver’s licence (or ability to obtain one).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Familiarity with the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) methodology.
