Instrumentation Technician – I-C Section (Asab)

About the role

The I-C Section at Asab requires a skilled Instrumentation Technician to perform preventive, corrective and troubleshooting maintenance on plant instrument, process monitoring, control and protective equipment. You will work on scheduled and unscheduled shutdowns to ensure reliable operation of all instrumentation systems.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine and preventive maintenance, repair and testing of instrumentation according to SOPs.
• Participate in plant shutdown activities and complete work orders on time.
• Inspect equipment, identify developing problems and report issues.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate and test process control instruments and relay logic.
• Perform field or system modifications of control elements and update related plant drawings.
• Assist in upgrading and retrofitting new control instruments to existing panels.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial instrumentation maintenance.
• Ability to work safely during both planned and emergency maintenance.
