Intensive Care Consultant Physician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant Intensive Care Physician to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The role involves delivering comprehensive care to critically ill patients within a multidisciplinary ICU environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients, including those with acute respiratory, cardiac, neurological, renal and multi‑organ conditions.
• Lead assessment, stabilization and ongoing management, including mechanical ventilation and advanced life support.
• Perform and supervise critical care procedures, monitor hemodynamic and physiological parameters, and adjust treatment plans.
• Manage sepsis, shock, acute organ failure and other life‑threatening conditions.
• Coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesiologists, cardiologists, neurologists, nephrologists and other specialists.
• Lead multidisciplinary ICU rounds, clinical case discussions and communicate with patients' families.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Postgraduate qualification (MD/DNB/DM) in Critical Care Medicine, Intensive Care Medicine, Anesthesiology or Internal Medicine with advanced critical care training.
• Significant post‑specialization experience at Consultant level managing complex ICU patients.
• Strong clinical leadership, decision‑making and communication skills.
