Intern Accountant – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Intern Accountant to support our Dubai accounting team. This full‑time internship offers hands‑on experience in bookkeeping, audit assistance and UAE tax compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records, ledgers and supporting documentation.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and data entry.
• Prepare basic financial reports and ensure files meet UAE compliance requirements.
• Support senior accountants in audit, tax and reporting tasks.
• Organise and file accounting documents and assist audit/tax teams with required paperwork.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Basic knowledge of UAE VAT (advantageous).
• Proficiency in MS Excel for data entry and basic formulas.
• Willingness to learn accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Xero or Zoho Books.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational and time‑management skills.
• Professional attitude, team player with good written and verbal communication.
• Available to work full‑time during office hours and hold a valid UAE work visa.
