Internal Audit Manager - Ports Operations

About the role

Lead and manage internal audit engagements focused on ports operations, ensuring effective execution of operational, compliance and performance audits in line with government priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive audit plans and programs for assigned engagements.
• Lead operational, compliance and performance audits, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and follow‑up on corrective actions.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and resolve audit issues.
• Conduct industry research, benchmark best practices and assess regulatory changes.
• Provide coaching, guidance and technical support to audit team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Professional certification (CIA, CPA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent) is mandatory.
• Proven experience managing internal audit engagements, preferably in customs or ports operations.
