Internal Auditor

About the role

The Internal Auditor will support the Senior Internal Audit team by conducting assigned audits, analysing management systems and evaluating business procedures. This position plays a key part in ensuring the organisation’s controls are effective and aligned with objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior auditors in preliminary surveys of functions and activities to assess operational nature and control adequacy.
• Perform transaction testing and other audit procedures as part of individual audit assignments.
• Prepare and organise working paper files for each audit engagement.
• Review the reliability and integrity of management information and its handling within the organisation.
• Monitor compliance of internal systems and procedures with organisational policies, relevant laws, agreements and regulations.
• Execute any additional tasks directed by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior auditors and other stakeholders.
• Good understanding of audit methodologies and control frameworks.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
