Internal Auditor Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Internal Auditor Manager to lead independent audit assignments across complex accounting, financial control systems and operational units within our Dubai operations. The role involves planning, executing and reporting on audits while coordinating a team of auditors and specialists, with occasional travel to other UAE branches.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor subordinate auditors, co‑sourced IT auditors and other audit assistants.
• Plan audit strategies, define scope, develop audit programmes and execute field‑work in line with IIA standards and the company’s audit manual.
• Examine records, interview staff and assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, accounting and risk‑management systems.
• Review implementation of accounting and front‑end systems for reliability and compliance with rules and directives.
• Prepare audit reports with findings, recommendations and remedial action plans, and present them to heads of audited units.
• Follow up on management action plans, monitor implementation and maintain comprehensive audit documentation in the Audit Management System.
• Perform data analysis to identify key risks, determine sampling methodologies and support strategic audit planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising audit teams and managing complex audit projects.
• Strong advisory and consultative abilities to develop practical solutions.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to work across functions and locations, and meet tight deadlines.
