International Rail Project Manager

About the role

The International Rail Project Manager is responsible for delivering complex urban transport and railway projects from Dubai to the wider Middle East and global markets. The role combines project‑management excellence, technical leadership, client relationship management and strong intercultural capabilities. You will act as the primary interface between clients, stakeholders, project teams and company management to ensure safe, profitable and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring and closing of railway and urban transport projects across their lifecycle.
• Define project governance, execution strategies, schedules, resource plans and delivery methodologies.
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk and opportunities, ensuring contractual obligations are met.
• Provide multidisciplinary technical oversight and coordinate interfaces between railway system disciplines.
• Act as primary client and stakeholder contact, building long‑term relationships with transport authorities, operators and partners.
• Maintain project risk registers, anticipate risks and drive mitigation and opportunity management.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Transportation, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years experience delivering railway and urban transport projects internationally.
• Proven track record managing multidisciplinary engineering teams in metro, light rail, commuter or high‑speed rail projects.
• Experience working with major public transportation authorities and international clients.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); French highly desirable.

Required skills

• PMP certification (or equivalent project‑management expertise).
• Prince2 certification (or equivalent).
