Inventory Manager - FMCG

About the role

Careers International is recruiting an Inventory Manager for the FMCG sector in Dubai. The role is central to minimizing costs, maximizing profits and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective inventory management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory planning strategies based on demand forecasts, sales trends and seasonality, working with sales, marketing and production teams
• Monitor purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery, negotiating terms and agreements
• Enforce inventory control procedures to reduce shrinkage, damage and theft, and run regular cycle counts and reconciliations
• Analyze inventory data with management software, generate reports, present KPIs and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with logistics, sales, finance and production, and contribute to sales and operational planning
• Build supplier relationships, evaluate supplier performance and negotiate pricing, lead times and order quantities
• Identify process improvements, stay up to date with industry trends and ensure compliance with relevant regulations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
• Proven experience as an Inventory Manager or in a similar role within the FMCG sector
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent organization and time management
• Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
