Investment Advisor / Portfolio Manager – Private Banking & Wealth Management

About the role

The client is a boutique external asset‑management firm in the DIFC, seeking an Investment Advisor/Portfolio Manager to support the construction, execution and ongoing management of investment portfolios for international private‑banking clients. The role focuses on structured products and operates primarily during European working hours.

Key responsibilities

• Construct, manage and monitor client investment portfolios in line with objectives, risk profiles and mandates.
• Provide investment advice and recommendations across structured products and other asset classes.
• Identify, assess and compare structured‑product opportunities based on client goals and risk appetite.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end structured‑product transactions, including pricing, approval, execution and settlement.
• Monitor product and portfolio performance, credit risk, liquidity and market developments.
• Prepare investment proposals, portfolio reviews and market updates for client and internal meetings.

Required profile

• 3–10 years of experience in investment advisory or portfolio management with a focus on structured products.
• Background in private banking or asset‑management environments.
• Willingness to work European hours from Dubai (approximately 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.).
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills; French is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, mathematics or related field.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA or CAIA are advantageous.
