Investment Banking Off‑Cycle Internship – Dubai

About the role

Jefferies Investment Banking Interns have a unique opportunity to gain insight into a global, client‑focused investment bank and experience an entrepreneurial environment where employees can make an immediate impact and gain recognition. Interns work closely with senior bankers on pitches and live deals, gaining hands‑on experience across the firm’s investment banking products.

Key responsibilities

• Perform financial valuation, discounted cash flow and multiples‑based analysis.
• Build and operate financial models.
• Prepare pitchbooks and live‑deal materials such as management presentations and offering memorandums.
• Conduct industry and product research.
• Participate in the execution of M&A, equity and debt transactions.
• Interact with clients, potential buyers and other stakeholders.
• Help build out the MENA business and franchise.

Required profile

• Ability to work as part of a global team with a self‑starting approach to problem solving.
• Excellent academic credentials and professional drive.
• Previous investment banking or corporate finance experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and a passion for excellence.
• Fluency in Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to see the bigger picture.
