Investment Director

About the role

The Investment Director will sit on a single seat covering three arenas – media, property and consumer – within a private investment platform operated from Dubai and the UK. The role blends daily deal flow work with strategic oversight of the platform’s recurring investment activities, requiring hands‑on involvement from sourcing to post‑investment management.

Key responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate deal flow across media, property and consumer sectors, quickly discarding non‑aligned opportunities.
• Build financial models and valuations from scratch, even for businesses with irregular financial statements.
• Lead end‑to‑end due diligence, including data‑room management, adviser coordination and reference calls.
• Structure and negotiate term sheets, shareholder protections, earn‑outs and commercial mandates alongside the principals.
• Prepare decision‑ready investment memos for the principals and the Platform’s Investment Committee.
• Oversee post‑investment integration, managing the first hundred days with founders and handling portfolio reporting, board materials and refinancing analysis.

Required profile

• Senior investment professional with a strong background in private equity, family office or principal investing.
• Hands‑on experience in both minority founder‑led investments and control transactions.
• Ability to work directly on models, contracts and on‑site problem solving.
• Cross‑asset curiosity, comfortable moving between media, property and consumer businesses.
