Investor Relations Associate (Remote)

About the role

We are hiring an Investor Relations Associate to help grow the investor side of Paires, the network of family offices and high‑net‑worth individuals our founders raise from. You will work alongside our senior investor team on live mandates, qualifying allocators, preparing briefs, running follow‑ups, and keeping investor relationships warm between deals.

Key responsibilities

• Qualify allocators, prepare briefing notes and follow‑up on live deals to meet the house standard.
• Build and maintain your own book of family offices and HNWIs, initiating first conversations and growing a personal network.
• Support mandates by handling investor qualification, briefing, and follow‑through on live deals.
• Identify new investors and open new doors on a monthly rhythm, adding fresh family offices and HNWIs to Paires.

Required profile

• Have started building an allocator network through wealth management, private banking, a family office, placement, or your own hustle, with demonstrable relationships.
• Can explain your method for finding the right investors, earning the first conversation, and staying useful to them.
• Know what your investors actually do with their money, ideally including direct allocations into US startups.
• Listen more than you pitch, treat discretion as a reflex, and never waste an allocator’s time.
