Investor Relations Manager – GCC & China Focus

About the role

The Investor Relations Manager will lead the firm’s engagement with institutional investors across the UAE and the wider GCC, while bridging connections to Chinese capital markets. This senior‑facing role combines relationship management, business development and market intelligence to support the growth of the Dubai office and the broader Middle‑East franchise.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors across the UAE and GCC, including sovereign wealth funds, asset managers and family offices.
• Identify and pursue new institutional business opportunities, arrange senior‑level meetings and expand the firm’s client network in the Middle East.
• Represent the firm at investor meetings, roadshows, conferences and other market‑facing events, presenting investment capabilities and China‑related opportunities.
• Facilitate connectivity between GCC investors and Chinese capital markets by working with teams in China and overseas to tailor solutions.
• Act as liaison between GCC clients and the firm’s investment banking, capital markets, research and other business teams, ensuring effective follow‑up.
• Monitor GCC market developments, provide clients with insights and relay feedback to internal teams to support business development.
• Support the growth of the Dubai office and the broader Middle‑East franchise through outreach, relationship mapping and event coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in investor relations, institutional coverage, investment banking or related financial services.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE/GCC institutional investor landscape and an established network of senior contacts.
• Proven ability to build senior‑level relationships, develop new business and represent the firm in external meetings.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency strongly preferred.
• Interest and understanding of China’s capital markets and experience working with Chinese financial institutions is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal, stakeholder‑management and cross‑functional coordination abilities.
