iOS Developer

About the role

Kayana is looking for an experienced iOS Developer to join its mobile engineering team in Mumbai. You will help build secure, high‑performance iOS applications that enable seamless mobile payment experiences for small and medium‑sized businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain iOS apps using Swift and Objective‑C with a focus on stability, performance, and usability.
• Integrate payment gateways, UPI, wallets and other third‑party SDKs/APIs securely.
• Collaborate with Product, UX/UI and Backend teams to define, design and ship new features.
• Optimize applications for speed, responsiveness and reliability across iOS devices.
• Maintain code quality through reviews, unit tests and best practices.
• Stay up‑to‑date with iOS development trends, security standards and mobile‑payment innovations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, crashes and payment‑related issues in production.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Swift with working knowledge of Objective‑C.
• Experience building modular iOS apps using CoreData, Combine and background tasks.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and compliance requirements such as PCI DSS.
